Below you’ll find some frequently asked questions we receive from many of our clients. We’ve tried to answer all of your questions and concerns, but please get in touch if you still can’t find what you’re looking for.
HOW LATE IN THE YEAR ARE YOU OPEN?
We are open year-round for all your celebrations and parties. The venue is climate controlled with heat and air conditioning. We are sure you and your guests will be super comfortable.
HOW MANY GUESTS CAN I INVITE?
This venue is a 4,200 square foot (40' x 105') blank canvas. The maximum capacity for The BackShed is 320 guests.
DO YOU HAVE TABLES AND CHAIRS AVAILABLE OR DO WE HAVE TO RENT THEM?
We will provide you with tables and chairs to sit 288 guests at no additional charge to you. These are a combination of 6' round and 6' rectangular tables.
ARE THERE BATHROOMS INSIDE THE VENUE OR DO WE HAVE TO RENT PORTA-POTTIES?
Yes, we do have separate men's and women's bathrooms located inside the venue. Both are handicap accessible.
WILL OUR GUESTS BE ABLE TO PARK A CAMPER OR FISH HOUSE FOR THE NIGHT?
Unfortunately, no. We don't have additional parking space for overnight guests. There is camping available at The
Sportsmen's Club Grounds (Pow Wow Grounds), located 3 miles West of Royalton on County 26 (Nature Road) along the Mississippi River.
WHERE CAN OUR GUESTS FROM OUT OF TOWN STAY?
The nearest hotels/motels would be in Little Falls, Pierz, or the St. Cloud area. There is camping available at The
Sportsmen's Club Grounds (Pow Wow Grounds), located 3 miles West of Royalton on County 26 (Nature Road) along the Mississippi River.
DO YOU HAVE A LIST OF APPROVED VENDORS AND CATERERS WE NEED TO CHOOSE FROM?
No. We want your day to be as special as you do. That's why it's your choice who you want to be part of that special day. You may choose to have a caterer or supply your own food and beverages. That's what makes us unique and stand out above everyone else.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO HIRE A VENDOR THROUGH YOU?
The choice is yours! You set a budget and find somewhere that works within that budget. Everyone has different ideas of how much of a budget to have, that's why the choice is yours.
CAN YOU CREATE A SMALL, INTIMATE SETTING AT YOUR VENUE?
There is no event to small for this space. Dimmable lighting throughout makes it easy to host your event in only one area of the building.
DO WE NEED TO HIRE OUR OWN BARTENDER?
There is a fully functioning bar area located in the venue. This comes complete with a drink station, keg cooler, and ice machine. Bartenders will be up to you to provide.
DO YOU HAVE ANY DECORATIONS AVAILABLE?
We currently do not have any decorations available. This space is yours to do what you'd like to make it special for you.
